  • What is the role of a dental assistant?

    • To make sure patients are comfortable

    • To assist the doctor during the dental procedures

    • To set up before and clean up after the procedures

    • To maintain the dental equipment


  • What made you choose a career in the dental field?

    • I’ve always been interested in the medical field, but when I saw an ad in the paper looking for a dental assistant that offered on the job training I applied and never regretted it.


  • What is your favorite part of being a dental assistant?

    • It’s challenging and always interesting. I like learning different things about teeth.  It’s nice talking with so many different people everyday too.


  • What are your favorite things to do when you’re not at the dental office?

    • Hanging out with my family and/or friends

    • Bowling

    • Playing bean bags, darts, and horseshoes

    • Listening to music

    • Gardening and yard work

    • Watching Netflix and the ID channel


  • What is your favorite part about Homewood?

    • The convenience of everything Homewood has to offer: stores, restaurants, banks, nail salons etc.  Fun bars too! There’s not many things not offered here. Even my home is here.
